This seems so obvious, yet many people are blissfully unaware. Here is one great article about the issue, and at the same time, I am going to start another area on my links page to provide links to good source of healthcare information, especially on Substack.
One very good one is Dr. Sircus, and he just posted a Substack on Periodontitis, Chlorine Dioxide and Cardiovascular Disease. This article is very insightful, and worth reading. And here is the whole oral care section of DioxiCare.
Another very worthwhile source of information is Dr. Robert Yoho’s book Judas Dentistry, which is very powerful advice from a reformed doctor on what is wrong in dentistry. It is not pretty, but you better start finding out now. It starts as a love story of how he figured out his wife’s health problems were all caused by toxic dentistry. Here is a video presentation about the book.
Next on the list is Dr. Ellie Phillips, for a long time I ignored her because of her advocacy for fluoride, which I think is too toxic to contemplate using. Other parts of her advice make sense however, so I suggest you be selective about her advice.
Becoming an educated consumer of dental health knowledge and products, may give you an escape route from the drill, fill and bill routine that is still the norm. In particular the Xylitol advice from Dr. Ellie Phillips is helpful, I have found. It is all about supporting a healthy mouth flora, which prevents plaque formation, and is a far better route than fighting placque tooth and nail, which kills the beneficial bacteria at the same time. Time to give up the Listerine. Here are some useful Xylitol products:
- Zellie’s Sugar Free Cool Mint Dental Mints
- Zellie’s Sugar Free Cinnamon Dental Mints
- Zellie’s Sugar Free Peppermint Gum
- Pür Xylitol Gum Variety Pack
I like both Zellie’s and Pür. The choices are expanding. That’s all for today, I will come back soon on other health and healthcare related sources.
