Turning Point

It seems that finally, in the aftermath of the Covid Occupation, we are seeing serious signs of an attempt to rescue healthcare from the mortal embrace of the pharmaceutical industry. The signs of radical change are now in the air. I will simply highlight a few.

And here is the PBD Podcast with Dr. Peter Gotzsche:

In short, it seems the world is now starting to see something that you cannot unsee anymore. In and of itself that does not solve anything, not even if there is an effort to seek justice, and it can only be hoped that something more like Desmund Tutu’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission could be attempted, for it takes two to tango. Mundus vult decipi, decipiatur ergo: The world wants to be fooled, therefore she will be.

There is much more, besides the things I have listed here, but at least we now have an opening towards the possibility of some welcome change.

Towards a more functional healthcare model

In concept the solution exists. Lifestyle Medicine, must become the top priority, i.e. helping people to transition to healthier lifestyles. A lot of that can be done on a volunteer basis. There are grassroots organizations throughout the country, different variations of what we have here in NYC, in the form of Plant Powered Metro New York.

A future healthcare model needs to have Lifestyle Medicine in the lead. The AMA should be disbanded, and all medical modalities should be recognized, including allopathic medicine, which has proven itself especially in trauma medicine and certain other situations, so we should not abandon it, but it should be recognized alongside other modalities including homeopathy, anthroposophic medicine, ayurvedic medicine, traditional chinese modalities, naturopathy, Chiropractic, Osteopathy and many others.

It would be nice if we can have a more inclusive model.
