The Vision Thingy

Lately I have been speaking with a number of friends who have eye problems, like cataracts, and so on. We’re all researching this and sharing information and a number of interesting things are coming to the fore including some helpful sources of information. I will list some of the more important ones here, and as per usual, none of this is medical advice. Follow your own counsel, consult with your physician, and these days there are even telemedicine options if you do not trust your local ophtalmologist.

  • Amandha Vollmer – A great video on DMSO for eye health.
  • A Midwestern Doctor on Substack has a great post out on DMSO and eye health, and how it will change ophthalmology forever.
  • A great source for responsible DMSO information is also Amandha Vollmer’s Healing with DMSO book. If you need any more advice, go to her. Your local doctor may not be as well informed.
  • Another option is ASEA, which is a great big hop in the behind for your glutathione production, and when we get older, we need a boost, for over 40 your body’s production goes down. Elevating your antioxidants is certainly part of taking care of your eyes. Some people have also applied it directly to their eyes with success, but I am still using the 60/40 saline/DMSO eye drops, and I take the ASEA internallty.
  • Finally a great boost for your glutathione is NAC 600 mg daily and Glycine 500 mg daily.
  • Finally blue light and your circadian rhythm. I take a walk at sunrise, with Pres. Thomas Jefferson, or so I imagine, for he did that all of his life, and we now know from Dr. Jack Kruse how important that is to sync up you biological clock, and get some of that early UV.
  • in terms of using healthier lighting, there is Pure-Light. Mostly red light, hardly any blue, plus it has a TiO2 coating which is activated by light and it helps neutralize odors in the air and keep your indoor air clean.

Right now, this is most of what I have learned. Hope you can make use of it.
